It’s Octoburrrrrr! In many areas, including the one where I live, the weather is starting to get chillier. Perhaps you’re looking for warm projects to knit and crochet. I have some fantastic suggestions for projects that will warm you as you make them, and then they’ll warm the recipient for many years to come.

If crocheting is your craft of choice, blankets are at the top of the list of fantastic projects to warm up with. If you enjoy working from pattern books, I have a recommendation to share. It’s Crochet Afghan Revival, pictured here; aside from free blanket patterns (find some of those HERE), this book is the best value I’m currently aware of for printed pattern books. It includes some truly outstanding patterns, and the book is an incredible bargain overall.

Of course, this isn’t the only fantastic crochet blanket pattern book available. If you’d like to see some other choices, I invite you to check out our page of crochet blanket patterns, which includes bunches more recommendations for excellent pattern books you’re likely to enjoy.
