There are many different ways you could use this snowflake; it would make a fab Christmas tree ornament if you add a wire hanger to it. Pictured at above left, you can see how the ornament looks before adding the hanger.
Unlike most crocheted snowflakes, you wouldn’t have to use starch or glue solutions to stiffen this design to make it into a suitable tree ornament. Because you use a bit of craft wire when you make this project, the snowflake holds its shape well all on its own.
I attached my beaded snowflake to the cover of a tiny snowflake-shaped scrapbook mini album, so that’s another possible craft project idea idea for you. You can see a picture of that above, on the right hand side of the photo. If you want to know how to make a scrapbook like the one you see pictured, free instructions for that are available at clearalbums.com.
The free pattern for this snowflake ornament is posted at About.com. Please be aware that I have no control over the pattern page, or any of the pages posted on their website; About.com staff may have edited the pattern since the time it was originally posted. I do not have oversight of the edits they might have made, or edits they might make in the future. With that in mind, I ask you to please disregard any unrelated stock photography that they may have added to the page, and to be alert for oddities that were not originally intended to be part of the pattern. I am truly sorry for this inconvenience.
